About This Game Long time passed since the alien invasion to our home planet. Earth resources are almost gone, so humanity has to explore other planets to survive... Their games wont win a prize for originality, story or beauty, but if you are looking for a cheap game to blow off some steam (and exterminate THOUSANDS of filthy aliens), do not look any further. I quite enjoy these games, the music is great, there are waves upon waves of enemies to mow down and it is just a joy to play a few rounds to get rid of some aggressions. It is nothing you would play for hours on end, but ideal for short play sessions. This new game is a bit of a mix between tactics, shooter and tower defense. Enjoyable level design, lots and lots of enemies in different varieties, different soldiers and upgrades to unlock and the possibility to play through the different missions in several difficulty levels with different types of challenges adds to the replay value. This is a guilty pleasure.Since I have bought the game on release day, I also found a few bugs (I have already reported them in the discussion section under technical problems) but I am confident that they will be fixed, since I own most games from Sigma Team and I have never been disappointed by this developer. So yes, I recommend this title, but if you are afraid of bugs (of course not the ones you shoot) maybe wait a bit until they are fixed.. It's a good time waster and it brings back that feeling you got when watching starship troopers. BUT, god damn can we get a setting that turns of the particles for when enemies and objects blow up? I can run the game on max grapics fine but all the particles when a horde of enemies or minerls blow up it starts laging to hell and back.I give it a 7 out of 10. 2 taken off because of the particle lag and 1 for the repeating music it gets hell of annoying when you realize its on loop.. It's enjoyable. Poor interface controls when precise squad management is meant to be required make a frustrating experience.. 1) It Is hard, you can play all stages at easy-normal-hard and 2 units will be not level up at all... No credits.2) It Is to hard (not possible) to play at easy. The monsters get stronger but no credits to level up your units.3) Only 20 Levels!!!!!4) A really good game, really nice view, really good game play but the worst upgrade system price that can be. I did like this game quite a bit, but I am unable to finish it. The biggest problem I found later in the game was that I required Miners every time. Otherwise, your going to lose fast. This means you can\u2019t include an additional type of troop that you may need to finish. Many times, I\u2019ve gotten through to the end of a level just to have my butt handed to me in under 15-20 seconds. Needs to be balanced out more. I have a hard time recommending any game that is good mix of abilities and game difficulty through most of it just so that you hit a wall \u00be of the way through it that you can\u2019t get by.. The games developed by this team never disappoint!This is a simple but super fun gameI hope sooner or later they develop Alien Shooter 3Recommended Game!
