If the answer is yes then ChargeShot is just the game for you.Pros: Great art if you dig pixel art with a grunge 90's 'zine feel to them, Simple intuitive controls, fast & fun gameplay, Gameplay is deep and strategic, lots of interesting arenas that change up the mechainics, full controller support, supports up to 4 players.Cons: The games single-player content isn't much to shake stick at, No online multiplayer(The real fun of this game comes from playing with friends locally, if thats not something you can do you might not get the full experience of this game), PC only. This game is really cool, once you buy it, it seems like it's no whort enought, but after you play multiplayer with your friends, ir becomes really better, and it motivates you to unlock all the levels and characters. if you have no one to play this game, dont buy it, but if you can play it with your friends, dont think it twice. in simple words, it\u00b4s like an: Super Smash bro derp, but funcional. it decerves an online multiplayer. really really fun.. The bouncing shots and unique environments are cool, but ultimately this local deathmatch gets outdone by towerfall in every aspect.The singleplayer content is fairly weak. It's just a series of AI matches (the skins are cosmetic) strung together that can be pretty challenging. The co-op campaign in towerfall, as well as the unlockables, both felt more rewarding. The meat of the game lies in the multiplayer.The deathmatches can be hectic and the different maps have good variety and lots of fun mechanics such as water that bends shots or slippery ground with spike traps. However, there aren't any modifiers outside of this. So there are no power ups to add flavor to matches, just the same jetpack, reflecting shield and gun. These mechanics are fun and by no means broken, but they don't have the same kind of variety.It's an ok game on its own and I think the art style and more straightforward pure mechanics will appeal to people, but I do not think it is for everyone. If you are looking for a reason to put towerfall away, this isn't quite it.. Do you have people to play this with? Yes? Okay, you should definitely buy this.However, if you'll be playing it in single player, you can only expect about... How many hours do I have on record? 2.3?That's about as much time as you'll be getting out of it.However, it is really good! It's simple, and you can get a grasp on its mechanics pretty quickly if you have decent reflexes. That being said, for anyone who doesn't normally play video games, it could come off as super confusing--the jetpack is delayed and accelerates awkwardly, you can die in an instant because the maps are so small, and you'll undoubtedly blow your own brains out with the plasma cannon numerous times (it bounces off walls). However, if you take some time to get a feel for the game, it's really good. And, like I said, simple.Buy it to \u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 around with friends. I could see impromptu tournaments being really fun. However, if you're going to be playing singleplayer, spend your money elsewhere. You won't be getting the intended experience.. ChargeShot is a wonderful little time waster, albeit a bit monotonous. The graphics are charming, the environments sufficiently entertaining, and the music is very well done. I would have preferred if the characters possessed unique skills, but I understand that the skins are purely cosmetic and lend a very abstract, pong sort of feel to the game. If you enjoy mindless, reflex based local multiplayer, you could do a whole lot worse than picking up ChargeShot on sale.. paint everything red. Just played this with two of my buddies and had a blast! Takes a couple of minutes to feel like a pro, reflecting bullets back, shield pushing and jetpack feinting to sweet victory. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys local multiplayer games..
